Moxie People has partnered with a community-focused Housing Association based in South Wales in their search for a Compliance Officer for a 12 month fixed term contract.

Role Overview:

This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and tenant-focused individual to play a key role in managing the Associations health and safety compliance areas. As the Senior Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring 100% compliance across all landlord compliance areas, including gas, EICRs, asbestos, fire safety, legionella, and more.

Job Title: Senior Compliance Officer

Location: South Wales

Salary: £34,000 per annum

Hours: 35 hours per week (9-day fortnight)

Contract: 12-month Fixed Term

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compliance Management: Lead your team in achieving 100% compliance in all key areas, including gas, asbestos, fire safety, and more.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to maintain compliance standards.
  • Process Improvement: Ensure robust processes and procedures are in place, improving accuracy and efficiency in compliance programs.
  • Monitoring and Reporting: Critically evaluate compliance data, track KPIs, and assist in producing assurance reports.
  • Tenant Communication: Ensure effective communication with tenants regarding compliance matters and professionally address their queries.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and support your compliance team, setting targets, conducting performance reviews, and providing necessary training.

Who We're Looking For:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented professional with:

  • Extensive knowledge and experience in housing association health and safety compliance.
  • Excellent IT skills and familiarity with compliance systems.
  • Strong management abilities and the capacity to lead and motivate a team.
  • A proactive and tenant-focused approach with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
