Building Bridges and Spreading Awareness
Attending the WiCAF event gave our Operations Director Rachel a space to wave our Working Wardrobe flag proudly, sharing our vision of supplying high-quality workwear to job seekers in need of an extra confidence boost.
Something as simple as necessary workwear shouldn’t be a barrier when it comes to securing a job interview or work placement. The clothing we supply through our charity (both via generous donators and top label brands) are for candidates to keep forever, so they can feel their best time and time again.
From this event alone, we were able to collect an amazing 93 pieces of wonderful workwear via our donation drive. Every item counts when it comes to supporting our dedication to positively impact lives.
Not only do we want potential candidates to feel their most confident, but we’re also here to provide the best tools of support, so interviewers feel prepared with their answers and ready to enter the world of work.
Our Operations Director Rachel was happy to share the stories of two individuals who had previously reached out to the charity, to showcase the incredible impact clothing can have and advise on the many ways individuals and organisations can support via donations and volunteering days.
